Dragonair recognised at Customer Service Excellence Awards

Dragonair was proud to receive two awards at today’s Customer Service Excellence Awards 2014, hosted by the Hong Kong Association for Customer Service Excellence (HKACE). Both awards recognise the strong internal support provided by the airline to help its staff fulfill their job responsibilities.

The awards received by Dragonair were:

Individual Award – Internal Support Service (Gold Award): Flora Ng, Cabin Crew Training Specialist in the Inflight Services Department, won the top honour for the patience and care she has shown towards new joiners and cabin crew going through training. Her motto is “do a great job, make dreams come true”.  

Team Award – Internal Support Service (Silver Award): The Cabin Crew Training & Development Team from the Inflight Services Department won the silver award for adopting innovative training modules, role-play scenarios and mobile applications to enhance communication with the younger generation to good effect.

The Customer Service Excellence Awards ceremony is hosted annually by the Hong Kong Association for Customer Service Excellence (HKACE) with the aim of promoting quality customer service among its member companies. Today’s ceremony was chaired by HKACE Chairman James Tong, with Under Secretary of Commerce and Economic Development Godfrey Leung as the officiating guest. Various government officials and representatives from the travel and service industries were also in attendance.
