James: I’m a huge fan of all kinds of Ramen. If you ask people where to find the best ramen in Sydney, many will point here. This place is easy to miss due its hole-in-the-wall entrance. My tip is: make sure you get in early for lunch or dinner, as it’s always teeming with people wanting a quick ramen fix.

10 William Street

James: I love this place. It's got an incredible wine list and it's great for grabbing a small table with friends. Order some sharing plates of pastas and have a great night. If I can only recommend one restaurant in Sydney, it'll be this one.

James: Yes, there are some great pizza spots in Sydney and this is one of the more exciting openings of late. They deploy unique ingredients on their woodfire pizzas and they have a big focus on anchovies... Make sure to try their famous Mortadella pizza!

James: I’ve been going to Nomad for years. It is a special restaurant, as it's got a stunning and unique interior. I can recommend sitting up at the bar - see and be seen - and order something from their incredibly creative menu. 

Brickfields

James: For the last six years, Brickfields has been supplying businesses around Sydney with their delicious bread and pastries. It’s a great spot to head mid-week and dine al-fresco. I can recommend their signature seeded ciabatta, bacon, manchego, pickled and greens... if you’re hungry, you won't regret their lunch plate!
