More flights. More options. Fly with Cathay Pacific from Dhaka to Hong Kong and beyond

The airline operated its first non-stop flight from Dhaka to Hong Kong and is adding more flights between the two countries from January onwards

Wednesday, December 7, 2022 — Cathay Pacific, the home airline of Hong Kong, recently took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International and operated its first flight between Dhaka and Hong Kong on 3 December 2022. The resumed flight was positively received by customers and the trade alike. The airline also received a positive response for cargo on the flight.

The carrier further announced an enhanced schedule starting January, providing travellers with direct connectivity to Hong Kong and onwards to destinations across the Cathay Pacific’s network, including Japan, South Korea, Australia, Canada and the USA.

More destinations and increased flight frequencies mean more choices and better connectivity for our customers.”

In addition to passengers, the first flight welcomed a strong belly-hold as Cathay Pacific provided additional cargo capacity on the route, besides the three weekly freighters, which continues to witness healthy demands for varied shipments.
