Airline increases flights to double daily amid growing Hong Kong, China and Asia Travel

(Vancouver, B.C.) - Cathay Pacific Airways, one of the world's leading passenger and cargo airlines, today announced the addition of two non-stop flights between Toronto and Hong Kong.
From May 1 2011, the service will grow from 12 to 14 flights weekly offering passengers unprecedented travel options to Asia's financial capital of Hong Kong.

According to Cathay Pacific Vice President, Lavinia Lau, the additional flights are responsive to growing demand for travel to Asia.  "We're delighted to increase our services in Canada and offer travellers greater choice to Hong Kong with same-carrier connections to Mainland China and other parts of Asia."  She continued, "Our home base of Hong Kong and award-winning airport continues to evolve as a major hub in Asia, alongside the growth of Cathay Pacific."

With double daily service, Cathay Pacific flies non-stop from Toronto to Hong Kong more than any other airline.
