Cathay Pacific can confirm that a crew bus has been involved in a traffic accident near Hong Kong International Airport. Initial reports are there were two pilots and 17 cabin crew members onboard the bus as well as a driver. Information from the scene is that 16 cabin crew members have been taken to hospital. There are no immediate details on the extent of their injuries. Cathay Pacific staff are at the hospitals to assist crew members and their families and additional staff will assist those crew members still at the site. The airline will release additional information as it becomes available.
