Cathay Pacific resumes Taipei services as typhoon Haitang turns south
Cathay Pacific Airways this afternoon announced it will start to resume services from Hong Kong to Taipei later today as typhoon Haitang follows a more southerly course than expected over Taiwan.
The first Cathay Pacific flight will be CX468, which will depart at the later than scheduled time of 20.30 hours, Hong Kong time. CX464 will operate as scheduled and CX408 will be combined with CX462 and operate according to CX462’s original schedule. There will be no flights from Taipei to Hong Kong today.
Passengers not booked on any of these services are advised to contact Cathay Pacific at the two numbers listed below or their travel agent to rebook their flight.
Tomorrow’s services to and from Taipei should operate normally as scheduled.
