Cathay Pacific plans for recovery after typhoon flight delays (6:20pm)

Cathay Pacific Airways suspend the arrival and departure of all flights in and out of Hong Kong at 5pm local time due to the arrival of Typhoon Dujuan.

This evening's delayed flights to Europe and Australia are being rescheduled to operate from mid-morning on Wednesday when wind and weather conditions allow.

Most inbound Cathay Pacific flights due to arrive in Hong Kong either this evening or early morning tomorrow will now arrive from mid-morning on Wednesday, also weather permitting.

These disruptions will affect normal schedules over the following day or so. All passengers are therefore urged to check for updated flight arrival and departure information before heading to the airport by calling the numbers listed below or checking on the airline's website. Both will operate 24 hours.
