Cathay Pacific operates 13 flights to and from Tokyo as services return to normal today
Six of these 13 flights are scheduled services and seven are flights delayed from Friday (11 March), including the two Narita-bound flights that were diverted yesterday to Osaka and Nagoya.
A Cathay Pacific spokesperson said that all our flights to Tokyo are expected to operate according to normal schedule tomorrow (Sunday, 13 March), with four direct flights, one flight via Taipei to Narita and two flights to Haneda.
"We will closely monitor the situation and deploy our resources to meet the needs of passengers to and from Tokyo,” the spokesman added.
Passengers going to Tokyo are advised that the situation is still fluid and ground transport in quake affected areas has yet to fully recover.
They are also advised to check the airline’s website, www.cathaypacific.com, for updated flight arrival and departure information before departing for the airport. To ensure customers receive the latest flight status updates via SMS or e-mail, they are advised to update contact details in Manage My Booking through our website.
Passengers without confirmed bookings are advised not to go to the airports. Instead they should call the Cathay Pacific Reservation hotlines:
