Cathay Pacific flight update

Cathay Pacific Airways announced that as of 8:00pm today, 4 July, a total of 22 flights have been delayed by 15 minutes or more. Some of these delays appear to have been caused by industrial action initiated by its pilots' union. The airline will be looking closely into these flights to fully establish the facts.

Cathay Pacific is operating its full schedule of services, with a total of 130 flights scheduled for today. The company will continue to monitor the situation and keep its passengers fully updated about the situation.

Cathay Pacific's Director Corporate Development Tony Tyler said: "We sincerely apologise to our passengers for the inconvenience being caused by these flight delays."

Cathay Pacific recommends passengers to call the following passenger enquiry hotlines before going to the airport to obtain the latest flight information. The hotlines will remain open between 7:00am and 8:00pm until further notice.
