Cathay Pacific Appoints New Regional Head of Customer Travel and Lifestyle for Northeast Asia

Cathay Pacific Airways today announced the appointment of Jason Choi as Regional Head of Customer Travel and Lifestyle for Northeast Asia with immediate effect.  

Based in Tokyo, Jason will oversee two lines of business of Cathay Pacific Airways - passenger commercial functions and customer lifestyle partnerships in Japan, Taiwan and Korea market.   

Jason has served as the Country Manager for Vietnam and Cambodia, and has held various positions in Hong Kong and China, including the Beijing and Hunan offices. He has also worked as the Passenger Network Manager in the Planning Department, responsible for network development, fleet deployment and route profitability in Southeast Asia and the Americas. Jason started his career as a Swire Group Management Trainee in Swire Properties and joined Cathay Pacific in 2013. He holds a BSc in Mathematics with Statistics for Finance from Imperial College London. 

As part of this transition, Tony Sham, the former Regional Head of Customer Travel and Lifestyle for Northeast Asia, is assuming the role of Country Manager for Indonesia.
