As at end of June 2021, Cathay Pacific is the home airline of Hong Kong. Together with its subsidiaries, HK Express and Air Hong Kong, the Group had 238 aircraft.

Destination Summary

Immediately prior to the onset of COVID-19, our airlines directly connected Hong Kong to 119 destinations in 35 countries worldwide (255 and 54 respectively with codeshare agreements), including 26 destinations in the Chinese Mainland.

Number of People

As at end of June 2021, the Group employed more than 23,100 people worldwide. Around 18,700 of them are based in Hong Kong.


Cathay Pacific is a founder member of the oneworld alliance. Member airlines include: Cathay Pacific, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, British Airways, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Royal Air Maroc, Royal Jordanian, S7 Airlines and SriLankan Airlines. These airlines serve more than 1,000 destinations in over 170 countries and territories.

Asia Miles

Asia Miles, Asia’s leading travel and lifestyle rewards programme, has more than 12 million members and over 800 programme partners worldwide. With its aim of delivering Life Rewarded, Asia Miles offers extensive opportunities for members to earn miles with everyday spending in a variety of travel and lifestyle categories. Members can then use their miles to redeem a range of Flight, Travel, Lifestyle, and Entertainment Awards, or to make charitable donations. Asia Miles Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cathay Pacific Airways Limited.

Marco Polo Club

Marco Polo Club is Cathay Pacific’s loyalty programme that rewards its members with exclusive privileges and enhanced travel and service benefits based on club points they earn when travelling with Cathay Pacific and all oneworld alliance airlines. Marco Polo Club members automatically become Asia Miles members and enjoy a range of additional privileges and benefits, both in the air and on the ground.
