Discover the magic of South Korea this summer

Enjoy value-added offers with Cathay Pacific’s seasonal promotion

Cathay Pacific has partnered with Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) to offer UAE travellers with special fares and additional benefits to South Korea this summer.

Cathay Pacific customers can now enjoy special fares starting from AED2,155 in Economy Class and AED 7,135 in Business Class when travelling to Seoul, Busan and Jeju. To give travellers more flexibility to experience these cities, our fares permit a combination of two destinations in South Korea. For example, one can choose to travel from Dubai to Seoul and return from Jeju to Dubai.* This offer is valid for all flights booked on Cathay Pacific before 30 June 2018 and are valid for travel until 15 September 2018.

As an added benefit, Cathay Pacific customers who travel from Dubai to or from Seoul are eligible to register for a free 1-Day Special Pass to Lotte World. This offer is available to the first 100 travellers who book flights during the promotion period. Seoul’s enticing Lotte World is a vast leisure complex which houses the world’s largest indoor theme park and features ‘Magic Island’– an outdoor amusement park situated on an artificial island that is linked by monorail to shopping malls, a luxury hotel and a Korean folk museum.

Cathay Pacific Area Manager Middle East, Jonathan Ng, said: “We are always looking for ways to inspire and enrich our customers’ travel experience. This partnership with KTO provides great value and flexibility for travellers from the Gulf to explore South Korea’s many and varied attractions.”

South Korea is famously rich in culture. Seoul, the capital city, is home to numerous attractions and amusements which appeal to travellers all ages, from the historic palace of Gyeongbokgung to eclectic shopping and casual dining in Myeong-dong.

Jeju is a perfect island for hiking and exploring nature. Its beautiful landscape is enhanced by the dramatic Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Alternatively, visitors can enjoy the charms of Busan. This large coastal city is known for its beaches, mountains and temples including the popular attractions of Haeundae Beach, Nurimaru APEC House and Gamchoen cultural village.

Korea Tourism Organization Regional Director Dubai, Kenny Kang, said: “We have been working with Cathay Pacific to position South Korea as an affordable family destination for residents of the Gulf, and we look forward to welcoming UAE visitors to experience our country’s diverse food and unique culture.”

To help visitors discover more during their stay, KTO has published an extensive list of top travel tips which should not be missed. These include a selection of special hotel packages available at www.visitkorea.or.kr.
