Cathay Pacific update on flight operations to Taipei

Cathay Pacific Airways today (Wednesday, 21 August) announced that based on the latest weather forecast regarding Typhoon Trami, it plans to operate its Taipei flights as scheduled from 10:00 am on Thursday (22 August).  However, as the typhoon is approaching Eastern China, its flights to Shanghai may be disrupted.

Apart from its scheduled services, Cathay Pacific will operate an additional flight to and from Taipei and add more capacity on two pairs of flights using larger aircraft.

Passengers without confirmed bookings are advised not to go to the airport. Cathay Pacific will assist with alternative arrangements for affected passengers through our call centres and “Manage My Booking” at www.cathaypacific.com.

 

Passengers are also advised to check the latest flight information on the airline’s website before departing for the airport. They are also advised to enter their contact details in the Manage My Booking function on the website to ensure they receive the latest flight status updates via SMS or email.

 

The airline will waive all rebooking and rerouting charges for Cathay Pacific tickets issued worldwide on or before 20 August 2013 for travel on Cathay Pacific with confirmed bookings involving Taipei between 21 and 22 August 2013. Details are available at www.cathaypacific.com
