    "body": "<p><b>Relocation of services will increase connectivity and enrich the travel experience for the airline\u2019s passengers at the busiest international air gateway\u00a0in the United States</b></p><p>Cathay Pacific will relocate its operations at\u00a0New York\u2019s John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Terminal 8, commencing 15 January, in a move that will benefit its customers through added convenience and enhanced connectivity.</p><p>The relocation, which sees Hong Kong\u2019s home carrier shift its passenger handling services from Terminal 7, will provide its customers\u00a0with a more seamless travel experience\u00a0when connecting to flights operated by\u00a0Cathay Pacific\u2019s <b>one</b>world partner, American Airlines, which\u00a0has a significant presence at Terminal\u00a08.\u00a0</p><p>Flight CX845, with a scheduled departure of 00.45 local time on 15 January, will be Cathay Pacific\u2019s final departure from Terminal 7. All subsequent flights to Hong Kong will depart from Terminal 8, which is the largest passenger terminal at JFK and twice the size of Madison Square Garden.</p><p>Cathay Pacific Director Service Delivery James\u00a0Ginns\u00a0said:\u00a0\u201cMoving our operations to Terminal 8 at JFK, the home of our\u00a0<b>one</b>world\u00a0partner American Airlines, will improve our passengers\u2019 travel experience considerably.\u00a0The\u00a0first-rate facilities and amenities available, in addition to the significant connectivity advantages\u00a0that the move brings, will further enhance the delivery of our brand promise of a Life Well Travelled.\u201d</p><p>All\u00a0Cathay Pacific\u00a0passengers will enjoy the myriad dining,\u00a0retail\u00a0and entertainment facilities that the terminal provides before boarding their flights, while First and Business Class passengers, in addition to eligible Marco Polo Club members,\u00a0will have the option of relaxing in American Airlines\u2019 lounges \u2013 the Admirals Club or the Flagship Lounge,\u00a0which is set to be the most impressive on the airline\u2019s network once extensive renovations are completed in April.\u00a0</p><p>The Flagship Lounge, which will feature updated interiors, more space, additional privacy and a more personalised service, will also see the introduction of Flagship First Dining, meaning passengers can choose from a seasonal, multi-course menu that features fresh, regionally-inspired dishes designed by an Executive Chef.\u00a0</p><p>Cathay Pacific operates more\u00a0non-stop\u00a0flights between Hong Kong and New York than any other airline, connecting two of the world\u2019s most important financial centres\u00a0with four daily services to New York, including one via Vancouver\u00a0and one daily flight to\u00a0Newark Liberty International Airport.</p><p>In total, Cathay Pacific operates 108 scheduled passenger flights per week to North America, including 84 flights per week to Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles New York and San Francisco in the United States and 24 flights per week to Toronto and Vancouver in Canada.</p>",
