The airline is gradually resuming its flight services from 12 noon today (23 September), weather and safety conditions permitting. However, passengers without confirmed bookings or whose flights have been cancelled are advised not to go to the airport as the chance of securing a seat on a standby basis at the check-in counters is very low.

It is anticipated that flights may still be delayed or disrupted today due to adverse weather and operational constraints. The airline regrets any inconvenience this may cause and hopes for passengers’ understanding.

The airline is actively making alternative arrangements for those whose flights have been cancelled. Passengers should check the latest flight information and their flight booking details on the airline’s website, www.cathaypacific.com, before departing for the airport.

Meanwhile, those with confirmed bookings are advised not to arrive at the airport more than three hours before the estimated departure time of their flight.

Cathay Pacific will waive re-booking fees for all tickets issued worldwide (irrespective of fare type) on or before 20 September for travel on its flights between 22 September (Hong Kong time) and 24 September.
