Cathay Pacific Airways the home carrier of Hong Kong recognized around the globe for its amenities and service excellence, today announced it has joined Mexico’s BSP booking system, allowing Mexican travel agents the opportunity to book Cathay Pacific flights for the first time.

As a limited-time introductory incentive to agents, Cathay Pacific is offering a 6% general sales commission on all travel booked until 30 November, 2014.

Expanding Cathay Pacific’s distribution throughout the country will allow travel agencies to issue their own tickets in Cathay’s own CX (160) stock and credit cards will now be accepted as a method of payment.  Additionally, Mexican organizations will be able to enjoy the benefits of corporate travel agreements with Cathay Pacific, linking them to Hong Kong and all of the Asian continent, including 22 destinations in Mainland China.

A premium carrier, Cathay Pacific serves Hong Kong & Asia from five US gateways – including Chicago, Los Angeles, New York (JFK), San Francisco – and as of March 2, 2014, Newark Liberty International Airport. Cathay Pacific links Mexico City and Guadalajara to Hong Kong and Asia (via LAX) with a codeshare on Alaska Airlines.
