Cathay Pacific returns to Adelaide for another summer seasonal service and with even more flights during the peak months. The seasonal route will be taking flight from 10 November 2026 until 27 March 2027, operating three flights per week in November 2026 and March 2027 and increasing to five flights per week from December through to February.

The expansion marks a nearly 50% increase in seat capacity compared to its first season, offering South Australian passengers greater choice, convenience and seamless connectivity into Hong Kong and beyond.

These additional services will make it easier for customers to experience Cathay Pacific’s world-class service while connecting onwards to destinations across Asia, Europe, North America and beyond.”

Travellers can enjoy Cathay Pacific’s state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 aircraft when flying between Hong Kong and Adelaide. The aircraft is equipped to deliver an elevated experience in every cabin with lie-flat beds in Business class, spacious seats in Premium Economy, and exceptional comfort in the airline’s awarding-winning Economy cabin.

Customers can also enjoy the airline’s world-leading inflight entertainment experience during their journey, along with inflight menus developed in collaboration with Michelin-starred Hong Kong restaurants on flights departing Hong Kong.

Wi-Fi connectivity is available across Cathay Pacific’s entire fleet, with the service currently complimentary for First and Business class customers, Diamond and Gold members travelling in all cabins, along with Cathay members in Premium Economy.

​Cathay Pacific flies to five destinations in Australia, namely Adelaide, Brisbane, ​

​during summer 2026/27.

​Cargo is also an important element of this seasonal service with the additional belly ​

​dedicated freighter services to and from Australia.
