Beginning February 1, San Francisco bound-passengers will have the opportunity to experience their first Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Meanwhile, the existing 2nd daily nonstop flight on the same route is being retimed to depart in the evening to better accommodate connecting passengers. Last but certainly not the least, a 3rd nonstop flight will be added from Los Angeles to Hong Kong come May. Travelers from the West coast can soon enjoy more options and flexibility with the improved schedules.

With suites in First Class, fully lie-flat seats in Business Class, and Economy Class seats that preserve personal space, all passengers have the ability to enjoy a comfortable journey and the world-class service that earned Cathay Pacific the most recent Airline of the Year honors from SkyTrax.

“We’re announcing this early on for travelers to get a head start on their business or vacation plans. Our new flight schedules will allow passengers to travel both in the morning and in the evening, making seamless connections from destinations throughout Asia,” said Dennis Owen, the airline’s vp of marketing & sales, Americas.

Hong Kong - San Francisco

* The plane is scheduled to serve this route from Feb 1 - Mar 27 inclusive

**CX872 evening departure effective Mar 28

San Francisco - Hong Kong

Hong Kong - Los Angeles

*CX884 effective May 1 and will operate on Mondays, Thursdays & Saturdays

Los Angeles - Hong Kong

*CX885 effective May 1 and will operate on Mondays, Thursdays & Saturdays
